Ministry of Lands going CASHLESS
Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development has announced plans to go cashless on all transactions across the country and kicked off an exercise to kick the ball rolling.
The exercise to roll out a cashless transaction policy in all offices of the State Department for Lands and Physical is progressing well across the country. Teams flagged off from Nairobi on Monday 6th October are traversing the country to install computers and internet accessories, train staff and sensitize the public.

The teams, which are working under the guidance of PS Generali Nixon Korir, are also conducting an audit of the status of Land offices and are scheduled to complete the task in the next 10 days. The cashless transaction policy is aimed at reducing the loss of revenue, and reducing the cost of accessing services and is also in line with the directives of H.E President William Ruto on collection of Government revenue.
